It was requested that we share our cousin fun with the rest of you. So, we made it into a little matching game. See if you can place the right cousin with the clues . . . Have fun!
1. ____ loves piano (especially what she's not supposed to be practicing). She likes to embellish her piano pieces and figure out songs that she already knows without using music. Her favorite song that she's spiced up is "All Creatures of Our God and King." She loves school and is in an afterschool group called Knowledge Bowl. They are learning about geography this year. She likes to play with Barbies again and she and the boys play Barbie and Transformers. They all have some kind of special powers.
2. ____ enjoys figuring out how things are made/built and waking up before the sun. Asks a million questions a day (which is great), plays the piano, sings in chorus and really wants to play LaCrosse, he is also a talented artist.
3. ____ loves homemade bread with butter and the crust cut off, vitamins, reading and pretending to be reading, and really wants a real girl dalmation puppy for Christmas. She has an extremely good sense of smell and taste (you can't sneak gum around her!)
4. ____ has a great imagination, is a wonderful artist, loves to play board games of any kind LOVES STAR WARS anything
5. ____ is a very happy person. She is totally social. She loves preschool. Most everyone she sees gets a hug and a great big smile to go with it. She is her daddy’s little princess and loves to dress up, dance, fix her hair (and mommy’s too), draw, and take care of all her dolls and animals. She also likes to play things like Star Wars and War with her brothers. She loves to look at books and hear a good story with mommy, daddy or her big brothers.
6. ____ isn't so sure about the whole school thing. His mother has finally been spared the statement "I'm not going to school today." He also likes to ride his bike and play outside. He has discovered that he likes running. He and his brother share a best friend named Neil. They're together almost everyday. They like to pretend that they are either Transformers or someone from Star Wars. It can get pretty loud. Speaking of loud, that is for sure an adjective for this cousin. We are always shushing him during dinner and we've had to send him out to the garage quite often to get his yells out. He is very funny and likes to make people laugh. He is also very kind. He likes to help his little brother when he thinks he is helpless. He loves to snuggle and sit on my lap.
7. ____ Loves banana bread, Cheetos, The Backyardigan music, watching the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, being outside, bath time and bike rides.
8. ____ plays the Saxaphone, enjoys clogging and reading
9. ____ likes being silly and funny. He would like to be the class clown, but mom reminds him that it is more important to be a good student and save the clowning for the playground. He likes to make noises . . . all sorts of them. He loves to wear sweats, shorts and only short sleeved shirts. If he could, he would wear shorts and tee-shirts year round. He loves legos, especially star wars legos. And he loves to play outside. He has really enjoyed soccer and baseball this last year and is enjoying his first season of basketball.
10. ____ just loves being 5 years old. He is very curious, and likes to figure out how things work and are built, (which sometimes gets him into trouble) He loves going to preschool in the mornings, loves making things and painting pictures, loves to cook, and is a very good helper.
11. ____ loves to suck on her toes and wake up at 3 am and 5am. Carrots are her food of choice and she breathes really heavy and fast when she sees a sipper cup.
12. ____ loves to crawl and put things in his mouth. He dislikes solid foods. He loves the foot pedals of pianos, and the taste of paper.
13. ____ is a funny little man. He would rather take a bath than wash his hands. He shows us he's tired by running laps from our front room to the kitchen. He is his mommy’s eat-healthy-foods buddy. He likes his mommy’s fruit shakes. He likes to sing songs. We quietly laugh at his misunderstandings of the words. My personal favorite is from the primary song "My light is but a little one..." You know..."Shine on, shine on, shine on bright and clear." He won't even consider that it doesn't say "China, china, china in the air". He loves to ride his bike. He likes to pretend that he's the trash truck when he rides.
He loves all of his "grandpa" neighbors. He likes to run up to them and give them hugs (although only one of them can actually lift him up). He likes to read books over and over and over again. He also likes when we tell him stories. His favorites are the Three's - The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and The Three Little Kittens. Maybe it's because he's three.
14. ____ loves his erector set that he got for his birthday, making things out of cardboard, and recently found out that he loves mashed potatoes.
15. ____ is one of the most enthusiastic, on the go kids I know. He loves to plan things and often gets very busy with his “ideas” before his mom even realizes what’s happening. He would like to be an inventor when he grows up. He likes being in charge and is good at running the show with all the neighborhood kids. He loves friends and would have a friend over every single day if his mother let him. He also likes playing games – sports games, board or card, computer/video, and outdoor neighborhood games. He enjoys reading and is often caught up way past his bedtime reading. He is learning to play the guitar.
16. ____ likes hot rod cars, reads a lot, and chats on facebook with Uncle Brian.
17. ____Being a good friend is his number one talent, is on the school ballroom dance team, plays basketball , LOVES animals and enjoys helping his Mom cook.
18. ____ likes school and is really good at spelling and math. He gets his homework done in about 5 minutes so sometimes I give him a little something extra to do, just for a treat ;)

His mind wanders (out loud) when we read scriptures and lately he's been wondering how the Lamanites shaved their heads. Did they have razors? What were they made of? Did the Lamanites have cheese?
19. ____ has a very great imagination, and loves to play-act. he would get along very well playing with Eli, Adam and Mary Alice! He loves to draw, and to read. He has become a good reader. He has a very good sense of humor.
20. ____Takes Irish-Step dance, plays the piano, sings in the school choir, LOVES to read, just got straight A's on her report card, likes to cook, swing , climb trees ,write stories and draw.
21. ____ loves to wear his pajamas all day and when I do get clothes on him to go somewhere it's on top of his jammies so that he can strip down back to his jammies the second he walks in the door. He loves to draw and color and he loves panda bears.
22. ____ loves, loves music. She wiggles her body when she hears music playing, and hums in a little high voice when she is playing. She is very loving, and Loves, Loves her blanket (which she calls "kitty"), and her little doll. She is very happy most of the time.
23. ____Plays soccer, loves to write and get love notes, really, really wants a dog for Christmas, makes "____’s (this cousin’s name) famous cookies" for his family and we gobble them up!
24. ____ birthday is December 18, 2009 and thus is our most very special and newest cousin. According to her brother Owen, she is supposed to be a twin.
